Though we were happy to be allowed to go to Nawgha,it was a very immature decision to set out at 8;20am!When we reach there ,It was about 10:30am.The sun was very angry and scorching heat of the sun ablazed the views of the visitors.But when I saw the paharpur Bihar a sleeping memory aroused.I have been listening and watching about Paharpur from the very beginning of my life.In primary level,my books contained the image of Paharpur.I astonished to see the infrastructue of the huge establishment.The centre temple is a mega structure.Even after one and half thousand years later it stands with grandour.Still,it's height might be be equal to 5 to 6 storeyed building.One noticable thing was that the walls were very thick.Probably they were not acquainted to Iron.However,I also visited the museum situated beside the entry gait of the Vihar.Evidence of the rise of Mahayana Buddhism in Bengal from the 7th century onwards, Somapura Mahavira, or the Great Monastery, was a renowned intellectual centre until the 12th century.It was built by the king Dharma Pala.In 1985 ,UNESCO has designated it as world heritage site.

One hot day, a crow became very thirsty. He flew here and there in search of drinking water. But in vain, For a long time, he could not find any. He felt very weak, almost lost all hope. Suddenly, he saw a pitcher under a tree. He flew straight down to see if there was any water inside. Yes, he could see some water inside the pitcher. The crow tried to push his head into the pitcher.
